RAS donates to children's hospital

The employees of RAS Effringen hand over a generous donation to the children's hospital Schömberg in the Black Forest.

When children suffer from neurological diseases, it is always a great challenge for parents and children and often a long process to finding a suitable therapy. The Schömberg Children's Hospital was one of the first specialized children's neurological hospitals in Germany with the target of helping children and young adults with movement disorders and multiple disabilities. The clinic was founded by a parents' initiative in 1972 and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022. The broad medical services, are accompanied by a comprehensive therapeutic approach. The treatment is supplemented with child-oriented pedagogy, social work and all necessary care services.

In order to alleviate the pain of the affected children and to support the clinic, the RAS Efftringen employees have collected 3.500 Euro for a donation. The donation will be used for the musical therapist. The music therapy is a valuable offer for the recovery of the children, which could not be financed from the "normal clinic budget".
