RAS machines for: Signs and displays

Signs of changing times

Teksign wanted to update its bending processes. The sign manufacturer out of Brantford, Ontario had to decide what technology made the most sense for its high-mix/low-volume production needs. The company finally decided for a CNC metal folder RAS TURBO2plus and was able to increase throughput and simplify operations.   [more]

Multibend-Center: Profiles for LCD displays

The video shows the Multibend Center RAS 79.31-2 panel bender bending profiles for LCD advertising displays. A central part connects two profiles and is used as clamping area for the main manipulator. After bending, the operator separates the three parts that are connected by micro joints.

Bending advertising displays with radius tool

When bending radius parts from 3-4 mm aluminum, the RAS GIGAbend can achieve outstanding results. Exact and repeatable radii over the entire length of the part and scratch-free material surfaces characterize the folding technology for radius parts with perfect optical finish. Using adapter tools, the customer can produce tools with any desired radius and expand the range of applications the GIGAbend can achieve at a reasonable price.

Folding advertising monitors

Bending of an enclosure made of 2 mm aluminum on the panel bender RAS Multibend Center for an advertising monitor. Due to the complexity of the sheetmetal part many UpDownTools are used. They are automatically activated and deactivated during the bending sequence.

Advertising pylon with radius

The video demonstrates how the RAS Multibend-Center bends a radius part for an advertising sign. For the post of the pylon the radii on both sides almost project to the center of the part. The bending sequence uses the entire free space in the machine and around the tools.
