Fast and flexible cut
"It was a self-evidence for us that a shear cuts parts free of burrs and not twisted. We were interested at what the POWERcut offers in addition," says Erich Altvater. The sheeet support system is in a horizontal position before the cut is made and guides thin plates safely to the program-controlled backstop. After the cut, the sorting system routes large blanks to stacks in the rear, directs small parts to the front, separates trim cuts into the scrap box and sends reused strips back to the operator.
